If you are in central Luang Prabang, start from the main street (Sisavangvong Road) near the Night Market. Head north on Sisavangvong Road until you reach the intersection with Phothisalat Road. Turn left onto Phothisalat Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several small shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to Xang Hai Village. As you approach the outskirts of the town, look for signs indicating the direction to Manifa Elephant Camp, which is approximately 3 km from the town center. Follow the signs, and you'll eventually arrive at the camp.
Tuk-Tuk
From any point in central Luang Prabang, you can easily find a tuk-tuk by approaching the main street (Sisavangvong Road). Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Xang Hai Village (Manifa Elephant Camp). It should cost around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK, depending on your negotiation skills. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to mention 'Manifa Elephant Camp' to the driver so they know your destination. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the entrance of the camp.
Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Luang Prabang. Once you have your bike, head north on Sisavangvong Road, then take a left onto Phothisalat Road.
