Walking
If you are starting from the main street (Sisavangvong Road), head towards the Mekong River. Walk north along Sisavangvong Road until you reach the intersection with Phothisarath Road. Turn right onto Phothisarath Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Royal Palace Museum on your left. After passing the museum, keep walking until you see a small lane on your left. Take this lane, and you will find the Royal Carriage House at the end of the lane, just a few steps away.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Luang Prabang. Start from Sisavangvong Road and pedal towards the Mekong River. Then, follow Sisavangvong Road north until you reach the intersection with Phothisarath Road. Turn right on Phothisarath Road and continue cycling for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Royal Palace Museum on your left. After passing the museum, take the small lane on the left, which leads directly to the Royal Carriage House.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk near your location in Luang Prabang. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Royal Carriage House. A common landmark to mention is the Royal Palace Museum, as most drivers know this location well. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. After arriving, pay attention to the driver’s instructions on where to drop you off, and you can easily walk from there to the Royal Carriage House, which is just down a small lane.
