    Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Luang Prabang, head north on Sakkaline Road towards the Mekong River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Phu Si Road. Turn left onto Phu Si Road and walk until you reach the entrance of Mount Phu Si. Continue walking straight past the mount, and you'll find yourself on the main road leading out of town. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Wat That Luang on your right. The temple is located on the corner of the road; look for the distinctive architecture of the temple as you approach.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in the center of Luang Prabang. Start your journey by cycling north on Sakkaline Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Phu Si Road. Continue cycling until you see the entrance to Mount Phu Si, then proceed straight. After passing the mount, keep cycling straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Wat That Luang on your right side. The temple will be visible as you approach.

    Find a tuk-tuk stand in the city center, particularly around the night market area. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat That Luang. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the temple. Ensure you agree on the fare before you start your journey.
