Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Night Market area in the center of Luang Prabang, head south on the main street (Sisavangvong Road) until you reach the intersection with Phousi Road. Turn left onto Phousi Road and continue walking straight. After a few minutes, you will see the entrance to Phousi Hill on your right, marked by a staircase leading up. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes at a leisurely pace.

From the Royal Palace Museum, head east along the street until you reach the main road (Sisavangvong Road). Turn right and walk south until you reach Phousi Road. Turn left on Phousi Road and walk until you see the entrance to Phousi Hill on your right. The total walk will take about 10-15 minutes.

If you have rented a bicycle, ride south on Sisavangvong Road. Once you reach Phousi Road, turn left and continue until you see the entrance to Phousi Hill on your right. Parking for bicycles is available at the base of the hill. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes.
