Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the town center of Oudomxay. Head west on Route 2 towards the village of Pang Thong. After approximately 25 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Ban Tha Muang. Follow the signs to Tad Nam Chea, which is located in Ban Tha Muang. The drive should take about 45 minutes. Be cautious of the road conditions, as some areas may be unpaved.
Public Transportation
To reach Tad Nam Chea by public transportation, take a local bus from the Oudomxay bus station to Pang Thong. Buses depart regularly throughout the day, and the fare is around 15,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Pang Thong, you can either walk (approximately 10 km) or hire a tuk-tuk (around 30,000 LAK) to take you to Tad Nam Chea in Ban Tha Muang. Ensure that you confirm the fare with the tuk-tuk driver before starting the journey.
Tuk-Tuk
If you are already in Pang Thong, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk to Tad Nam Chea. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes and should cost about 30,000 LAK. Be sure to negotiate the price beforehand. It's best to arrange for the tuk-tuk driver to wait for you while you explore the area.
