Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Oudomxay Province, head east on Route 1. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 2. Take a left onto Route 2 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Luang Namtha. As you approach Luang Namtha, keep an eye out for Phonexay Street on your right. Turn onto Phonexay Street, and after a short drive, you will find Forest Retreat Laos on your left. Make sure to have a GPS or maps app handy to avoid getting lost.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Forest Retreat Laos by public transport, start at the Oudomxay Bus Station in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Luang Namtha, which typically costs around 50,000 LAK and takes about 2-3 hours. The buses usually leave in the morning and early afternoon. Once you arrive at the Luang Namtha Bus Station, hire a tuk-tuk or a motorcycle taxi to take you to Phonexay Street. This ride should cost around 20,000-30,000 LAK. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will take you directly to Forest Retreat Laos.
