Breathtaking Beauty at Scenic Viewpoint

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Phonsavan, start at the main bus station. Head northwest on the main road (Sangthong Road) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route 7. Continue on Route 7 towards the north for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and small eateries along the way. Look for signs indicating Scenic Viewpoint. As you approach the viewpoint, there will be a marked path leading up to the viewpoint on your left. Follow this path, which is about 500 meters uphill, until you reach the Scenic Viewpoint, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Phonsavan. Start at the main square and head northwest along Sangthong Road. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 and cycle for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to Scenic Viewpoint. When you see the path leading up to the viewpoint on your left, park your bike and follow the path uphill for about 500 meters to reach the Scenic Viewpoint.

• Motorbike

  If you prefer to rent a motorbike, start at the rental shop in Phonsavan. Head northwest on Sangthong Road for about 1 kilometer until you hit Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 and drive north for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs for the Scenic Viewpoint, and when you see the trail leading up on your left, park your motorbike. The path to the viewpoint is a 500-meter uphill walk, leading you to breathtaking views of the area.
