Car
If you are travelling by car, start from the capital of Sainyabuli Province, Sainyabuli town. Head east on Route 4 for approximately 70 km. Follow the signs to Luang Prabang. After you reach the outskirts of Luang Prabang, continue on Route 13 for about 10 km. You'll see signs for Pha An; turn onto the access road leading to the attraction. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Pha An by public transport, you can take a bus from Sainyabuli town to Luang Prabang. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Sainyabuli. The fare is around 40,000 LAK (approximately 4 USD) and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Luang Prabang, you can find tuk-tuks or shared taxis that will take you to Pha An for about 20,000 LAK (2 USD). Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in.
Tuk-tuk
If you are already in Luang Prabang after taking a bus from Sainyabuli, you can hire a tuk-tuk directly to Pha An. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes and will cost around 25,000 LAK (2.5 USD). Ensure you agree on the price before starting the journey.
