Continue on Route 9 until you reach the intersection with Route 13. Turn left onto Route 13 and drive for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Savannakhet Museum, which will be on your left. There is limited parking available near the museum, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)
For those opting for public transportation, you can take a tuk-tuk from anywhere in downtown Savannakhet. Make sure to tell the driver 'Savannakhet Museum' to ensure they understand your destination. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, typically ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 LAK (Laotian Kip), depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right outside the museum entrance.
