If you are near Raiskums, follow the signs towards Sarkanās Cliffs. Rūcamavots is located at the base of the cliffs. The walk from the main road is approximately 1-2 km along well-maintained paths.

From Cēsis, take a local bus towards Raiskums. Get off at the Raiskums bus stop and follow the signs to Sarkanās Cliffs and Rūcamavots. The walk from the bus stop to the spring is around 2 kilometers. A single bus fare from Cēsis to Raiskums costs approximately €1-€2.
Driving
From Cēsis, drive towards Raiskums via the Cēsis–Limbaži motorway. Look for the sign indicating Sarkanās Cliffs. There is a free car park about 300 meters from the motorway. From the car park, follow the path to Rūcamavots. Parking is free.
