Start at the center of Bcharre, near the main square. Head southwest on the main road (Bcharre's main street) towards the direction of the Qadisha Valley. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Ehden. Look for signage that points towards Ehden, as you will need to follow this road. Once you reach the Ehden road, follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through some scenic areas and may enjoy views of the valley. After about 20-30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the entrance to Ehden. Here, you can ask locals for directions to Saydet el Hosn, as it is a well-known landmark. The final approach is a short uphill walk, and you should be able to spot the fortress from a distance.

From Bcharre, walk to the nearest public transport stop on the main road. Look for shared taxis (also known as 'service') heading towards Ehden. The journey should take around 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Ehden, you can ask the driver to drop you off near Saydet el Hosn, or you may need to walk an additional 10-15 minutes uphill to reach the fortress.
