Getting There

Walking
From the center of Deir el Qamar, start by heading east towards the main road. You will see a sign for the Deir el Qamar Palace. Continue straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main highway (Route 90). At the intersection, turn right onto Route 90 and continue walking for approximately 7 kilometers. Along the way, you will pass several local shops and cafes, which you can stop at for refreshments. Once you reach the Mathaf area, look for signs pointing to the National Museum of Beirut. The museum is located on the right side of the road, just before you reach the Mathaf roundabout.

Public Transport
From Deir el Qamar, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. You can catch a bus heading to Beirut. Once on the bus, inform the driver you want to get off at Mathaf. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. After you get off, walk a short distance towards the National Museum of Beirut, which will be on your left. Look for the large building with a sign that says 'National Museum of Beirut'.
