    From Qadisha Grotto, start by heading southeast on the local road. Follow the signs directing you towards the main road (Lebanon Route 1). After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the town of Batroun. From Batroun, follow the signs to Chouwan, which will take you on the scenic Route 7. Continue on Route 7 for about 20 minutes until you see signs for Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve. Turn right onto the entrance road leading to Chouwan Entrance. Make sure to park in the designated parking area before entering the reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve - Chouwan Entrance via public transportation, start by taking a shared taxi or a minibus from Qadisha Grotto to the nearest major town, which is Batroun. The fare is usually around 5,000 LBP. Upon arriving in Batroun, look for a minibus heading towards Chouwan. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately 1,000 LBP. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve. Once you arrive, walk towards the entrance of the reserve, which is well marked.
