Driving
From Maseru, take the A5 southeast to Qacha's Nek (225km, approximately 4 hours). Then, branch northeast onto an unsurfaced road (90km, 2-3 hours) that runs close to the South African border towards the park gate. Note that all approach roads require high clearance and ideally a 4x4 vehicle. There are no toll roads. There is no parking fee.

From Maseru, take a minibus taxi to Qacha's Nek. From Qacha's Nek, hire a local guide with a 4x4 vehicle to take you to Sehlabathebe National Park. The journey can be bumpy and take several hours. Confirm schedules and costs in advance. Minibus taxi fares from Maseru to Qacha's Nek vary, but expect to pay around 80-120 LSL.

Adventurous travelers can hike to Sehlabathebe National Park from Sani Pass. This challenging route is approximately 12 km of mountainous terrain and requires a full day of hiking.
