Getting There

Walking
If you are in central Benghazi, start at the Benghazi City Center. Head east towards Omar Al-Mukhtar Street. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Fwayhat Street. Turn left onto Al-Fwayhat Street, and after about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Benghazi Zoo on your right. The zoo is located in the Northern Al Fwayhat area, and the walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central bus station in Benghazi, look for a bus heading towards Al Fwayhat. Board the bus and tell the driver you're going to the zoo (they are usually familiar with the location). The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Al-Fwayhat Street and the road leading to the zoo. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the entrance.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Benghazi Corniche and head southeast along the coast. Once you reach Omar Al-Mukhtar Street, turn left and continue straight until you reach Al-Fwayhat Street. Turn right onto Al-Fwayhat Street and cycle for about 1 kilometer. The zoo entrance will be on your left. This route is approximately 3 kilometers and should take around 15 minutes.
