Car
If you're traveling by car from Schaan, head towards the main road (Landstraße) and take the exit towards Vaduz. Continue on Landstraße for approximately 3 km. You'll see signs for Vaduz; follow them. The road will lead you to Bergstraße. Once you reach Bergstraße, follow it until you arrive at Vaduz Castle, located at Bergstraße 2, 9490 Vaduz. There is limited parking available near the castle, so be prepared to park in designated areas nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Schaan. Take bus line 11 towards Vaduz. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Vaduz, Post'. From the bus stop, walk about 15 minutes uphill along the marked paths toward Vaduz Castle. The route is well-signposted and offers lovely views as you ascend. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your return trip.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Schaan to Vaduz Castle, it's about a 45-minute walk. Start at the center of Schaan and head towards the main road (Landstraße). Follow the signs towards Vaduz. The path is scenic and relatively easy to navigate. Once you reach Vaduz, follow Bergstraße uphill to the castle. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be steep in some areas.
