From Maienfeld train station, you have a few options to reach Heididorf. The Heidi Bus (PostBus) operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October. Check the schedule for current times. Alternatively, you can walk along the Heidi Trail, a scenic 2.4km route that takes approximately 35-40 minutes. The trail is well-marked with red "Heidiweg" signs and leads through the historic town and vineyards. A single bus fare costs around CHF 3. If you have large luggage, you can deposit it at the Heidi-Shop/Tourist Information at Bahnhofstrasse 1 for a small fee.

From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 towards Maienfeld. Follow the brown "Heididorf" signs to the center of Maienfeld. From there, follow the signs with the car or bus symbol to Heididorf. The Heididorf car park is located directly in front of the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free. From the car park, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance of Heididorf. The navigation address for the Heididorf visitor parking is Bovelweg 16, 7304 Maienfeld.
