Walking
The Mangturm is located on Lindau Island (Insel), easily accessible on foot from most points within the island's old town. From the Lindau train station, it's a short, pleasant walk of about 5 minutes. Exit the station towards the harbor and follow the promenade along the lake; the Mangturm will be visible on your right, next to the harbor entrance and the Lion statue.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from the mainland, several bus lines stop near the Lindau train station on the island. From the 'Lindau (Bodensee) Hafen' bus stop, the Mangturm is a very short walk. Lindau city buses are free with the Echt-Bodensee-Card.
Ferry
Ferries connect Lindau to other towns on Lake Constance, such as Bregenz. The Mangturm is a few steps from the Lindau Hafen (harbor) ferry terminal. A single ferry ride from Bregenz to Lindau ranges from €7-€10 and takes approximately 22 minutes.
