Founded in 1930 and opened in 1936, the museum has been located in the English Building Art Space since 1957.The museum's collection includes every postage stamp issued by the Principality of Liechtenstein since 1912, many of which are world-renowned for their aesthetic designs and sophisticated techniques. The exhibits showcase not only the stamps themselves but also original designs, test prints, and needle plates, offering an insight into the stamp-making process. Themes of the stamps range from architecture to zodiac signs.Visitors can also explore the history of Liechtenstein's postal service, admiring historical postal equipment and learning about the country's unique role in postal history.
