Car
If you're traveling by car within Curonian Spit National Park, head towards the village of Nida, which serves as a good starting point. From Nida, take the main road (E272) towards Klaipėda and then follow the signs for Uostadvaris. The lighthouse is located approximately 40 km from Nida. Once you reach Uostadvaris village, look for the lighthouse, which is situated near the shoreline. Parking is available nearby, but please note that there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Nida to the town of Šilutė. Buses run several times a day, but check the local schedule for exact times. From Šilutė, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle to get to Uostadvaris, as public transport options are limited. The taxi ride from Šilutė to Uostadvaris is about 30 km and may cost around €20-€30 depending on the service. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Nida and cycle towards Uostadvaris. This route will take you through scenic areas of the Curonian Spit. The distance is approximately 40 km, and it will take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to follow the cycling paths and enjoy the natural beauty along the way.
