Public Transport
From Klaipėda city center, head to the main bus station (Klaipėda Autobusų Stotis). You can take bus number 11 towards 'Karklė'. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Karklė' stop. Once you get off, walk straight towards the beach for about 10 minutes, following the signs for Karklės paplūdimys.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the city center and head towards the coastal path (Neringa). Follow the coastal path along the sand dunes towards Karklė. This will take you through beautiful scenery but is quite a long walk of around 10-12 km, which could take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Bike Rental
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bike from one of the rental shops in Klaipėda. Once you have your bike, head towards the coastal path and follow the route towards Karklė. The cycling distance is about 10 km and should take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you ride towards Karklės paplūdimys.
