Walking
If you are starting from the Cathedral Square, head southeast towards the Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and then walk towards the Gediminas Avenue. Continue straight along Gediminas Avenue, which is a major street in Vilnius. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance to the Gediminas Castle complex at the base of the hill.

From the Vilnius Bus Station, take bus number 34 or 88 towards the 'Karaliaus Mindaugo' stop. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Lukiškės' stop. Walk towards Gediminas Avenue and continue to the Cathedral Square. From there, follow the walking directions to Gediminas Castle as mentioned above.
