Bus
From Vilnius city center, head to the Vilnius Bus Station (Vilniaus Autobusų Stotis). Once there, purchase a ticket to Trakai. Buses to Trakai run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Once you board, enjoy the ride which takes about 30-40 minutes. When you arrive at the Trakai Bus Station, exit the bus and walk along Karaimų Street (Karaimų g.). Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Trakai Kenesa at Karaimų g. 30.
Train
Make your way to the Vilnius Train Station (Vilniaus Geležinkelio Stotis) in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Trakai. Trains to Trakai run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Trakai Station, exit the station and head towards Karaimų Street (Karaimų g.). You can either walk directly (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to get to Karaimų g. 30, where the Trakai Kenesa is located.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Vilnius. Head towards the Vilnius Bus Station to begin your journey. Follow the cycle paths towards Trakai, which is approximately 28 km away. The route is picturesque and takes you through beautiful landscapes. Once you arrive in Trakai, navigate to Karaimų g. 30 where the Trakai Kenesa is located. Be mindful of traffic and local cycling regulations.
Walking Tour
For the adventurous, you can walk to Trakai from Vilnius, although this is quite a long trek (around 28 km). Start from the Vilnius city center and head towards the south-west direction. Follow the signs to Trakai. This will take several hours, so ensure you are prepared with proper footwear and water. Once you approach Trakai, make your way to Karaimų g. and find the Trakai Kenesa at number 30.
