If you are in the heart of Old Town, Cathedral Square is easily accessible by foot. Start from the Town Hall (Rotušės aikštė), which is one of the main landmarks. From there, head north on Maironio Street until you reach the intersection with Pilies Street. Turn left onto Pilies Street and continue walking straight. After a short walk of about 10 minutes, you will see the impressive Cathedral of Vilnius on your right side. The square is right in front of the Cathedral.
Public Transport (Bus or Tram)
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus or tram from various points in Old Town. Look for the nearest bus stop, such as 'Universiteto' or 'Didžioji', depending on your location. You can catch bus number 1 or 2. The fare is approximately €1.00 and you will need to purchase a ticket from a kiosk or use a contactless payment option. Get off at 'Katedra' stop, which is very close to Cathedral Square. After exiting, walk a few steps towards the Cathedral, and you will find yourself at the square.
