Getting There

• Car

  From the Kisatchie National Forest, take LA-117 south toward the town of Leesville. Merge onto US-171 S and continue for about 20 miles. Take the exit towards I-10 E. Merge onto I-10 E and follow it for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 64 for LA-97 toward Jennings. Turn left onto LA-97 N and continue for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Rue de l'Acadie. Gator Chateau will be on your left at 100 Rue de l'Acadie, Jennings, LA 70546.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in the Kisatchie National Forest area. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Jennings from larger nearby towns. Once you arrive in Jennings, you can use a taxi service or a rideshare app to reach Gator Chateau at 100 Rue de l'Acadie. Be sure to check the Greyhound schedule in advance, as service may not be frequent.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, biking from Kisatchie National Forest to Gator Chateau is an option. Take LA-117 south towards US-171 S. Follow US-171 S, then merge onto I-10 E. Be aware that biking along interstates and highways can be dangerous and is not recommended. Planning your route along smaller roads or paths may be necessary, but be cautious of traffic and road conditions.
