Start your journey from the center of Diekirch, specifically at the Place de la Résistance. From here, head east on Rue de la Gare toward the train station. After about 500 meters, you will reach the train station. There, take a train heading to Ettelbruck. The train ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Ettelbruck station, exit the station and head southeast on Avenue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Industrie. Turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and walk for another 300 meters. You will arrive at the Point de confluence entre la Sûre et l'Alzette, where the two rivers meet, offering a scenic view.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the rental stations in Diekirch. Start at the Place de la Résistance and head toward the Sûre River along the cycling path. Follow the path that leads you along the river for approximately 3 kilometers. This scenic route will take you directly to Ettelbruck. Upon reaching Ettelbruck, follow the signs toward the confluence point, which is located near the rivers.

From Diekirch, you can take a bus to Ettelbruck. Head to the nearest bus stop at Place de la Résistance and check the schedule for buses heading to Ettelbruck. The bus journey will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Ettelbruck, walk toward Avenue de la Gare and follow it southeast for about 700 meters. Then, turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and walk for about 300 meters to reach the Point de confluence entre la Sûre et l'Alzette.
