Public Transport - Tram
If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the nearest tram stop. You can take Tram Line 1 or Tram Line 2. Board the tram heading towards 'Luxembourg, Pescatore' and get off at the 'Luxembourg, Gare' stop. From there, the funicular is about a 15-minute walk.

Walking
After exiting the tram at 'Luxembourg, Gare', walk towards the Avenue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Avenue John F. Kennedy. Walk straight for approximately 10 minutes. The Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg Funicular will be on your left at Avenue John F. Kennedy 1115.

Alternatively, you can take Bus Line 16 or 18 from the 'Gare' bus station. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg' stop, which is directly next to the funicular entrance.

If you are visiting the Luxembourg City History Museum or the Grand Ducal Palace, you can simply walk to the funicular. Head towards Place Guillaume II and then follow the signs to Avenue John F. Kennedy. It should take around 20-25 minutes on foot.
