Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Wiltz, head south on Grand-Rue towards Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de Bastogne. Follow Rue de Bastogne until you reach the intersection with Route de Wiltz. Turn left onto Route de Wiltz and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto N7 towards Luxembourg City. Continue on N7 for about 14 km until you reach the exit for Hamm. Follow the signs to Hamm, and after about 2 km, turn right onto Val du Scheid. The Luxembourg American Cemetery will be on your left.

    From Wiltz, walk to the Wiltz train station. Take the train towards Luxembourg City, which should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Luxembourg City train station, exit and take tram line T2 towards Dommeldange. Get off at the stop called 'Luxembourg Gare.' From there, walk towards the bus stop and take bus line 22 towards 'Hamm, Lentz' or line 9 towards 'Hamm, Foyer.' Get off at the stop 'Hamm, Val du Scheid.' The Luxembourg American Cemetery is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the road until you see the cemetery on your right.
