From the main street in Andasibe (Route Nationale 2), head east towards the entrance of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you see the Vakona Forest Lodge sign on your left.

Find a local taxi-brousse (shared taxi) at the main taxi-brousse station in Andasibe. Inform the driver you want to go to Vakona Forest Lodge. The taxi-brousse will take you towards Perinet. Once you reach the junction for Vakona Forest Lodge, ask to be dropped off. From there, it’s a short walk (about 500 meters) to the lodge.
