    Head to the main bus station in Fianarantsoa, known as 'Gare Routière'. Look for a bus heading to 'Ranohira', which is the nearest town to Isalo National Park. The bus ride will take about 4 to 6 hours. Ensure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Ranohira, you can take a taxi or a local pousse-pousse (rickshaw) to the park entrance, which is about 15 minutes away.

    For the adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Fianarantsoa. Head towards the route to Ranohira, which is approximately 150 km away. This option is physically demanding and will take the whole day, so start early. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the journey. When you arrive in Ranohira, you can find local transport to take you the final 15 minutes to Isalo National Park.
