Start your journey from the center of Fort Dauphin, specifically at the Avenue de l'Indépendance. Head south towards Avenue de l'Université. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Réunion. Turn left onto Rue de la Réunion and proceed until you come to the RN12 road. Cross the road carefully and head southeast on RN12, following the signs for Nahampoana Reserve. You'll walk for about 45-60 minutes, enjoying the local scenery. Keep an eye out for the reserve entrance on your left, marked by a sign.

If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the Avenue de l'Indépendance in Fort Dauphin. Cycle south towards Avenue de l'Université, then turn left onto Rue de la Réunion.
