Walking
If you're staying in the town of Hell-Ville, start by heading towards the main road (Route Nationale 5). Once you reach the main road, head northwest towards the village of Ambatoloaka. This will take you through some local shops and restaurants. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At this fork, take the left path that leads uphill towards Mont Passot. The trail may be steep, so take your time and enjoy the scenery along the way. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ambatoloaka or Hell-Ville. Start your journey from Ambatoloaka, heading towards Route Nationale 5. Cycle northwest for about 3 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path at the fork which leads up to Mont Passot. The ride can be challenging due to the incline, but the views are rewarding. Make sure to bring water and take breaks as needed.
Taxi-brousse (shared taxi)
From Hell-Ville, find the taxi-brousse station and take a shared taxi towards the village of Ambatoloaka. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Ambatoloaka, ask the driver or locals for directions to Mont Passot. You might need to walk from the center of Ambatoloaka, heading northwest towards the main road, then following the uphill trail to Mont Passot.
