Car
From Ranomafana National Park, start by heading northwest on the RN25 road towards the town of Fianarantsoa. The drive will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Fianarantsoa, take the RN7 road heading west towards the town of Antananarivo. After driving for about 3 hours, you will reach the junction for the RN34. Take the RN34 road towards Morondava. Continue on this road for about 5 hours until you reach the town of Morondava. From Morondava, follow the signs to Kirindy Mitea National Park, which is approximately 60 km away. Expect a 1.5-hour drive on a partially paved and sometimes bumpy road. The total journey by car will take around 11-12 hours.

Public Transportation
To reach Kirindy Mitea National Park from Ranomafana National Park using public transportation, first, take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Ranomafana to Fianarantsoa. The fare is approximately 10,000 MGA and the journey will take about 1 hour. Once in Fianarantsoa, transfer to another taxi-brousse heading to Morondava, which will cost around 30,000 MGA and will take approximately 8 hours. Upon arriving in Morondava, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or a private transport service to take you to Kirindy Mitea National Park, which is about a 1.5-hour drive and will cost around 50,000 MGA. The entire journey using public transportation will take around 12-14 hours, depending on waiting times and connections.
