Getting There

    From the center of Toliara (e.g., near the Avenue de l'Indépendance), head south towards Avenue Général de Gaulle. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. You will see the large blue ocean ahead. Once at the coast, turn right and walk along the beach path. The Port de Tuléar is located directly ahead at the end of the path. It is a prominent dockyard area, so you can look for the large boats and shipping containers that indicate you have arrived.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Toliara. Start at the Avenue de l'Indépendance and ride south towards Avenue Général de Gaulle. Keep straight on this road until you reach the waterfront. Turn right and cycle along the coast. The Port de Tuléar will be visible ahead, marked by its docks and boats. The ride is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take about 10-15 minutes.
