Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, head south on Route 3 towards Bar Harbor. After about 0.3 miles, take a right onto Eagle Lake Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Eagle Lake Bridge. The bridge is located just before you reach Eagle Lake itself.

    From Jordan Pond, walk east on the Jordan Pond Path until you reach the intersection with the Eagle Lake Trail. Follow the Eagle Lake Trail for approximately 1 mile. This trail will lead you directly to the Eagle Lake Bridge, where you can enjoy the scenic views.

    If you are coming from the Cadillac Mountain area, take the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge Trail down towards the park's main loop road. Once you reach the loop road, turn left and walk towards Eagle Lake Road, which is about 0.4 miles away. Turn right on Eagle Lake Road and walk for about 0.5 miles to reach the Eagle Lake Bridge.

    From the Bubble Rock parking area, take the Bubbles Divide Trail heading east. Follow the trail for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Eagle Lake Trail. Turn left and continue for another mile to reach the Eagle Lake Bridge.
