    If you are starting from Kennebunkport's Dock Square, head east on Maine Street towards the intersection with Route 9. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 35. Turn left onto Route 35 and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Kennebunk River. Cross the river using the bridge, and continue straight onto Western Avenue. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles until you arrive at the intersection with Eastern Promenade. Turn right onto Eastern Promenade, and Fort Allen Park will be on your left at 49 Eastern Promenade.

  • Public Transit

    From Kennebunkport, take the Kennebunkport Shuttle Service. Board the shuttle at Dock Square, and ask the driver to take you to Portland. The shuttle will drop you off at the Portland Transportation Center. From there, you can take a local bus (Metro Bus Route 1) towards the Old Port. Get off at the stop at Congress Street and Exchange Street. Transfer to the Metro Bus Route 7 towards the East End. Get off at the stop closest to Fort Allen Park, which is near the intersection of Eastern Promenade and Congress Street. Walk a short distance to the park entrance at 49 Eastern Promenade.
