Walking
From the center of Kennebunkport, head southeast on Main Street toward Ocean Avenue. Continue onto Ocean Avenue until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and walk until you reach the intersection with Bunker Lane. Turn right onto Bunker Lane. Fort Preble will be located on your right along Bunker Lane.

If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Kennebunkport and head southeast on Main Street. Follow Ocean Avenue, which will turn into Route 9. Keep following Route 9 until you see Bunker Lane. Turn right onto Bunker Lane, and Fort Preble will be on your right. The bike ride is approximately 3 miles and is mostly flat.

Take the local bus service from Kennebunkport to South Portland. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location in Kennebunkport and get off at the South Portland stop closest to Route 9. From there, walk east on Route 9 until you reach the intersection with Bunker Lane. Turn right onto Bunker Lane, and Fort Preble will be on your right.
