Walking
Start at the center of Ogunquit, perhaps near the Ogunquit Playhouse. Head south on Main Street until you reach Beach Street. Turn left onto Beach Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross over to the opposite side of Route 1 where you will see a sidewalk leading to Wells. Follow the sidewalk along Route 1, which will take you past various shops and restaurants. Keep walking until you reach the junction with Laudholm Farm Road. Turn right onto Laudholm Farm Road and walk straight until you see the entrance to Wells Reserve at Laudholm on your left.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, begin at Ogunquit Beach. Head north on the Marginal Way, enjoying the scenic ocean views. After reaching the end of Marginal Way, continue onto Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 until you reach the junction with Laudholm Farm Road. Turn right onto Laudholm Farm Road and bike directly to Wells Reserve at Laudholm. The distance is about 3 miles from Ogunquit Beach, and there are bike lanes along most of the route.

Public Transportation
From Ogunquit, you can take the local shuttle bus (Ogunquit Trolley) that runs during the summer months. Board the trolley at any of the stops in Ogunquit and request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Wells Reserve or at the junction with Route 1. From there, you will need to walk about half a mile down Laudholm Farm Road to reach the entrance of Wells Reserve at Laudholm.
