If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Washington County, you can start by heading towards US Route 1. From the center of Machias, take US-1 S for approximately 30 miles. Continue on US-1 until you reach Edgecomb. As you approach Edgecomb, turn left onto ME-27 S. Continue for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Fort Road. Follow Fort Road for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Fort Edgecomb at 66 Fort Rd, Edgecomb, ME 04556. There is parking available on-site.
