Walking
If you are in the heart of George Town, start at the iconic Fort Cornwallis located at Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Head southwest towards the waterfront, following the road along the coast. After a short walk, you will reach Lebuh Light. Continue along this road until you see the Penang Jetty sign. Follow the signs to the Chew Jetty. Upon reaching the jetty area, you will find the entrance to Chew Jetty, which is a collection of wooden stilt houses.

Public Bus
From your location in George Town, locate the nearest bus stop. Take the RapidPenang Bus number 101 or 102 heading towards the Penang Jetty. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Penang Jetty stop. Once you get off, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see the Chew Jetty entrance. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the jetty area.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in George Town. Start your journey from the center of George Town, cycling towards the waterfront. Follow the coast along Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah until you reach Lebuh Light. Continue cycling on this road, keeping an eye out for the Penang Jetty sign. Once you reach the jetty area, park your bicycle and walk to the entrance of Chew Jetty.
