If you're starting from the popular tourist area of Armenian Street, head east towards Lebuh Chulia. Once you reach Lebuh Chulia, turn left and continue until you reach the intersection with Lebuh Pantai. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the junction with Lebuh Armenian. Turn right onto Lebuh Armenian, and Syed Alatas Mansion will be on your left. Look for the distinctive architecture and the sign that marks the mansion.

From the Penang Peranakan Mansion, exit the building and head south along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Lebuh Armenian. Turn left onto Lebuh Armenian and walk straight. The Syed Alatas Mansion will be on your right side. Keep an eye out for the beautiful facade of the mansion as you approach.

If you are near the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (the Blue Mansion), exit the mansion and head north on Jalan Leith. Continue until you reach the intersection with Lebuh Armenian.
