If you are starting from the famous Komtar building, head south on Jalan Penang. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Campbell. Turn left onto Jalan Campbell and walk straight until you reach the end of the road. You will see a large roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto Jalan Farquhar, and Farquhar Street will be on your right in a short distance. Look for the street sign to confirm you are on Farquhar Street.

Starting from the Penang Peranakan Mansion, exit the museum and head east on Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling towards Jalan Chulia. Once you reach Jalan Chulia, turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Jalan Farquhar. Turn left and continue walking; Farquhar Street will be on your left shortly after.
