Bus
From Johor Bahru, head to the Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal. You can take a local taxi or use Grab, a popular ride-hailing app, to get to the terminal. At Larkin Sentral, purchase a ticket to Singapore. Make sure to check the bus schedules; buses to Singapore generally run every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Queen Street Bus Terminal in Singapore, you will need to transfer to Bus 927. The bus stop for 927 is located just outside the terminal. Take Bus 927, which will take you directly to the Singapore Zoo. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Mandai Lake Road stop, and the zoo is a short walk from there.

Train
First, make your way to the Johor Bahru Sentral Railway Station. You can take a taxi or Grab to reach the station. From Johor Bahru Sentral, board the KTM Intercity train heading to Woodlands Train Checkpoint in Singapore. After clearing immigration, continue on the MRT from Kranji MRT Station. Take the North South Line towards Marina South Pier, then transfer at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station to the Circle Line. Get off at the Marymount MRT Station. From Marymount, you can take Bus 138, which will take you directly to the Singapore Zoo. The entire journey, including transfers, will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
