    From Kota Bharu, drive south on the E8 highway (also known as the East Coast Expressway) towards Kuala Krai. After about 60 km, take the exit toward Gua Musang (Route 8). Continue on Route 8 for approximately 70 km until you reach the junction with Route 40. Turn left onto Route 40 heading towards Kuala Tahan. Follow Route 40 for about 50 km until you reach Kuala Tahan, where Taman Negara National Park is located. Be prepared for narrow roads and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Taman Negara.

    From Kota Bharu, take a bus from the Kota Bharu Bus Terminal to Kuala Tahan. Buses like Unititi Express or Transnasional run regularly, and the journey takes about 3-4 hours.
