Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kinabalu National Park, head southeast on the Jalan Kinabalu towards Kota Kinabalu. Continue on this road for approximately 90 kilometers. Once you reach the junction at Putatan, take a left turn onto Jalan Lok Kawi. Follow this road for about 6 kilometers, and you will arrive at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park on your right. Make sure to have cash for parking, which may incur a fee of around RM 5.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kinabalu National Park, take a bus to Kota Kinabalu. Buses are available from the main bus station in the park, and the fare is approximately RM 30. Once you arrive in Kota Kinabalu, head to the bus terminal and look for a bus heading to Putatan. The fare for this leg is around RM 5. Inform the driver you are going to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park; they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the park entrance.
