LRT (Light Rail Transit)

If you are near the Bukit Bintang area, take the LRT from Bukit Bintang station on the Pudu line towards Terminal Putra. Change trains at the Masjid Jamek station to the Kelana Jaya line towards Terminal Putra. Alight at the KL Sentral station. From KL Sentral, take the KTM Komuter towards Batu Caves and disembark at the Petaling station. Once you exit, take a Grab or taxi directly to Istana Negara, which is about 10 minutes away.
Bus

You can board a bus from various points in the city. Look for the buses heading towards Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim. The RapidKL buses such as the B110 or B115 will take you close to the Istana Negara. Get off at the stop nearest to the palace, and it will be a short walk to the entrance.
Walking from KL Sentral
