Getting There

• Bus

  From Kuantan, head to the Kuantan Bus Terminal located at Jalan Haji Abdul Rahman. Look for buses heading to Cherating or Balok. The journey should take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Cherating bus stop, you can either walk towards Pantai Kampung Cherating or hire a local taxi or Grab for the remaining distance.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kuantan. Start from the Kuantan city center and head towards Jalan Kuantan - Kemaman (Federal Route 3). Follow the road signs to Cherating. The distance is approximately 35 kilometers, so ensure you're prepared for a longer ride. When you reach Cherating, look for signs directing you to Pantai Kampung Cherating.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, you can take a long walk from Kuantan to Pantai Kampung Cherating. Start by walking towards Jalan Haji Abdul Rahman, then follow the main roads leading to Cherating. This journey is about 35 kilometers and may take several hours, so it's advisable to start early in the morning and carry plenty of water and snacks.

• Ride-Sharing (Grab)

  For a more convenient option, use the Grab app to book a ride from your location in Kuantan directly to Pantai Kampung Cherating. Simply open the app, set your pickup location, and enter 'Pantai Kampung Cherating' as your destination. This option is usually quicker and will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
