Getting There

• Bus

  From Kuah Town, head to the bus station and take a bus heading towards the northern part of Langkawi. The bus will stop at several points along the way. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for the Durian Perangin Waterfalls. It’s advisable to confirm with the driver or conductor that you will be getting off at the correct stop, as not all buses may list it explicitly.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you’re feeling adventurous, consider renting a motorbike from one of the rental shops in Cenang Beach or Kuah Town. Once you have your bike, head towards the northern part of the island. Follow the signs to the Durian Perangin Waterfalls. The journey will take you through scenic routes, and you’ll need to turn off the main road at the sign for the waterfalls. There will be a parking area near the entrance.

• Shared Taxi

  You can also opt for a shared taxi from various locations including Cenang Beach or Kuah Town. Share the ride with other tourists to reduce costs. Simply ask the driver to take you to Durian Perangin Waterfalls, and they will know the way. It’s advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand and confirm that they will wait for you while you explore the waterfalls.

• Walking from Nearby Attractions

  If you are near the area, such as the nearby Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls, you can walk to Durian Perangin Waterfalls. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take you through lush vegetation. Follow the signs directing you to Durian Perangin and enjoy the natural beauty along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
