Car
If you are driving, start from Kuah Town, the main town in Langkawi. Head north on Jalan Penarak for about 2 km, then turn left onto Jalan Air Hangat (also known as Jalan Ipoh). Continue on this road for approximately 5 km until you reach a fork. Keep right to stay on Jalan Air Hangat. After another 3 km, you will see a sign for Gunung Raya on your right. Turn onto Jalan Gunung Raya and proceed for about 2 km until you reach the entrance to Gunung Raya.

To get to Gunung Raya by public transport, you can take a local bus or a taxi from Kuah Town. If you opt for a taxi, simply tell the driver you want to go to Gunung Raya; the fare should be around RM 30-40. If you prefer the bus, look for the bus station in Kuah, and take the bus heading towards Padang Matsirat. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Gunung Raya. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk uphill to the entrance.
