Melaka Full-Day Trip From Kuala Lumpur
Taste of Melaka
This experience is not a tour. We were driven by car to Melaka Old Town and dropped off to wander around for 3 hours on our own before being driven back to Kuala Lumpur - a 2 hour journey each way on the freeway. We found the Old Town very interesting but 3 hours was not long enough to walk the streets, have lunch, do a river cruise and or a trishaw ride. There are plenty of food & coffee places including a Hard Rock Cafe - nice surprise. Our driver was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable but we had trouble understanding his accent which did limit the conversation for us. All in all a good trip for a taste of Melaka but I would recommend a 2 day minimum visit.
